Do what your heart tells you

Sometimes you just have to do what your heart tells you. Even if you know it could be a cliche. The biggest cliche to shoot as a photographer are of course sunsets. It’s almost not allowed. But just almost. Maybe you shouldn’t have them in your portfolio, but by all means, don’t stop shooting them. Why? Because they’re bloody beautiful!

Today I sat with my head and mind deep in some extremely tiresome text about programming a customers website. Not. Fun. At. All. I went to the kitchen to make me some tea when I looked out the window. The sky was amazing. What to do? Not a very difficult question. I grabbed my camera and set of down to the sea further down the road with my camera, tripod and a remote trigger to get my images really crisp. It took me about 15 minutes. That’s all it took. The results are down below.
